This is a quarterly webinar by Project South where they connect local to global struggles against racism, Islamophobia, inequality, and other forms of oppression. The September 2020 webinar will discuss connections between white supremacy and imperialism; and will draw lessons from the antiwar movement. They will reflect on lessons from US-led wars on Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya.

Speakers include: Dahlia Wasfi: Speaker and activist with a focus on Iraq.Megjan Afshan: Founder and organizer with Borderlands for Equity, CA.Asma Elhuni: Movement Politics Director , Rights and Democracy, NH.Khury Petersen-Smith: Michael Ratner Middle East Fellow at Institute for Policy Studies. They will also draw connections to the anti-racism movement in the United States.
